Introducing #CharactersHell!

As writers, one of the things we love the most is putting our characters through the ringer.
Let's be honest - there is some joy to be found in seeing our lovelies struggle. There's something delightful in seeing them come out of a situation already hoping to patch themselves up, get a cup of chocolate, take it easy, and see their reaction when some other nasty thing happens straight afterwards, before they can even catch a breath.

And it's not only life-threatening situations, or the main character alone either:
Side characters might be tired of having to deal with Main characters antics, main characters might not like how the side characters seem to ignore them, antagonists are usually pretty pissed at the whole ensamble, background characters sometimes end up losing their job, livelyhood, loved ones, even their life to a conflict they're not even part of! This is bloody hell innit!?
And all of them - all - at some point hate you, the writer. And sometimes you hate them too, because they just don't want to behave.

So...here's #CharactersHell!

This is a freeform #game (as in, it's not structured in daily or weekly chats) that all of you can use whenever you want if you feel like your lovelies need to vent some stress - towards the author, their life, and other characters, anything goes!

Now, since I'm already hosting #CharactersTell, I needed someone who could help me with this new idea - and luckily for me, I've got the lovely Nicole, who on twitter goes by Ladyofmind, to help me with this endeavor! She is the author of the Red Letter series, and you can find the interview with Tweety, her main character, in last month's blog post right here!

She's also the one who made this lovely graphic for #CharactersHell, so welcome her in the fold!

So! Let's get this show started, shall we? Let your characters rant about the life you laid in front of them in the comforting ambience of a nice and relaxing bar, with the bartenders listening to their every rant and gripe! Let them loose! If they find some kindred soul at the counter, they might even talk to each other, or plot revenge against their torturers (mainly, you).
And who knows - some might even end up into this blog!
